Japan’s Artistic Manhole Covers!

When travelling to Japan often people recommend to look upwards since there are many signs on the sides of buildings climbing all the way to the top floors, especially in big cities. But don’t forget to occasionally look below you as well, or else you’ll miss out on the curious manhole cover artwork. Each city has their own designs, they usually portray the local speciality or landmarks, sometimes even festivals, of each place.
